I think I'd like to get my Mini tinted. Can anyone recommend a good tint shop in the Boston area? I'm looking for places people do quality work.

Thanks

I had my Lexus IS300 done at The Tint Shop. It's in Chicopee or West Springfield...can't remember. The work was superb! The price was amazing...only $125.00

The *BEST* tinter in the Boston area is up in Billerica. He has done our cars for years, and really has an eye for which tint will look best. He has a machine that does the cuts specific to your car and his appication is great.

TINT KING Inc.
888-TINT-KNG
505 Middlesex Turnpike
Suite 22
Billerica MA 01821

What did you pay for your MINI? Assuming you had it done there...

I think I paid around $200 but the film was a really neat kind. It's kind of metallic but only very slightly. It has a bit of a green hue to it which looks great on my BRG, which is why he suggested it. It was a really great match.

Tinting isn't something I'd skimp on...go to Brian at Tint-King in Billerica. It takes longer for the tint to dry in this weather though.

Thanks, I'm not expecting mine until late Mar, so maybe it will warm up (more than today!).

Last question, how long does it take? I.e. are you able to wait for it or is it an all day affair?

The shop is just a 1 car garage/bay type thing on the backside of an office suite. I think he likes to do it by appointment so if yours is at 9am, you'd be the first and he has couches and newspapers/magazines in the garage there...so you can hang out for the hour or so and watch him work!

Later in the day he might be a bit behind schedule maybe, but it all depends. Also I think it has to be midweek as he doesn't open on Sat/Sun.
