We finally managed to get Greg's car in the showroom where I work. Here are a couple pics from it's arrival today...

Greg putting the front end on

Service advisors Geoff checking it out, and Jaymes eating lunch

All back together

In the showroom...finally! Greg's son Nick putting the door on

Greg showing Geoff and Mario the components in the boot

Greg talking with my lead MINI tech Steve and Paul(pmello)

...here's a few short video clips I shot with my camera...

The car will be here until after the MINIs Make-A-Wish toy run on December 7th.
Just off the shelf race stuff. NACA ducts and 3" duct hose. Not something you can do on glass windows of course.

All,
Thanks for the nice words. Thanks tons to INSKIP and Partsman for the connection to them. He has done a ton of ground work for me here.
I will try and get on here later this weekend and post up some more info on the car if you have any questions.
Want to thank M7, Vitesse Pro, Bentley Publishing and of course INSKIP for there support in this car.

Well it has come a long way since I saw the bare chassis upside down on a rotisserie in the shop . Seems like that was back in 93 or 94 but it is finally done
Now its time for the next phase which will be just as challenging but should be a lot more fun. Congratulations on a job VERY well done and I look forward to seeing it in person next month.

Thanks to M7 and you for all the support.
As you know the car did it's first, one and only race this last season with BMWCCA. We had a blown head gasket and were just pumping water through cylinder 2, but even with this going one the car took the fastest time of the day in all classes and qualified pole. Unfortunately the car finally gave up when leaving the grid for the race.
This Mini has proven to perform to my hoped expectations and then some.
See ya in a few weeks!
The car looks even better in person, and better still when it's moving around a racetrack.
And many thank to Greg for helping out other local MINI folks (like me) in addition to building his race beast. Many of the parts that have been taken off of Greg's MINI as it made its transformation have wound up on other people's cars. For instance, my Cooper has his car's old front bumper cover and side sills.
