I see them mentioned, and see that they are *supposed* to have a website, but it seems to have been down for a couple weeks, whats the deal?

 

The Ocean State club had a melt-down a few months ago and is now kaput. Everyone migrated over to Mass Motoring Club. Despite having "Mass(achusetts)" in the name, they're not at all exclusive and have members from all over New England. Be sure to check 'em out!

few months it happend sometime in early 08' just wish there was somebody to get the www from rich but i dotn think he will give it up. There are way to many minis in RI now not to have a mini club here.

 

did the Haunted MINI Rally disappear along with the Ocean State club?

 

yep a lot disappeared. rich took everthing with him..

 

Just was searching and I assume no one is going to get the club back up in Rhode Island.

I'd say a good 20% of the active members of the MMC are from RI. :D

 

20% of MMC are from RI but never any RI events :(

I would love to do Haunted MINIs again. That was a blast! I do have alot going on but would be willing to assist if someone would like to run the show on that.

Let me know. I think I still have all the logo stuff and everything.

 

Are we resurecting OSMC?

 

I am in for helping on Haunted MINIs but not on the club. Takes too much time away from family and work.

I would pass along anythign I have from the club (website, domain name, graphics) if someone wants to get it going again.

ive been looking for people to start a club here in RI, you should get it started and have monthly meetings or something so we can all get involved. it doesnt have to have a website or anything too serious, just mini enthusiasts talking about Minis!

 

ocean state minis was a great club wish it hadnt gone bye bye. we did reg meets once a month good people good fun....RI needs something

I am willing to work with people to get this off of the ground. If you interested in getting together to help me launch a rhode island mini club pm me. Granted I am newbie to this but am always willing to give something the old college try. I just got a jcw 2012 and I got the bitten by the bug. Let's get something going now that the season is upon us.

I'm new here as well, but would like to see an ocean state club. we have so many cool destination so close it's a shame not to.

 

Well lets try to organize some stuff. I know that Warwick Mini just tried to do an event a few weeks ago. I was out of town for work but being they are the only dealership in the state, perhaps we can work with the spread the word if you are interested in getting something going.
