Tentative Schedule of Events:

Saturday: event begins at 8:30 with the Driver's Clinic. An overview of what an autocross is and the opportunity to run through the course with instructors. The actual autocross will begin late morning/early afternoon depending on how many people attend. The event will be held at the Somerset Patriot's Ballpark in the red lot.

Sunday: the car show begins at 9AM at the hotel. Only registered cars will be allowed to park at the hotel. Non-registered will park across the street. Mini vendors will be there, the hotel is supplying food, and we will have activities going on in a conference room that will open to the parking lot where the show is held and a Detailing Clinic on how detail you car.

If you haven't already registered, please do so so we have enough supplies on hand for everyone.

Regards,
Debbie Franks

Pilo Racing will be participating in the Autocross, as well as the Show. We will have product with us at discounted prices. We will be accepting either check or cash. and will also be providing free installation on any of our products.

If you wish to prepay for an item via credit card, let me know so I can get it all straightened out, and set the product aside.

I will be staying at the hotel over night for any help or questions you may have.

Thanks
Dan

This event really sounds like a great time....too bad it is too far away from me, but I do want to encourage everyone in the area to go...there will be some great prizes given away....ProMini has donated a 250.00 Supersprint gift certificate, Cooper S Intake, and Short Shift Kit. Also make sure to meet up with Phil from Grafix Dezine - he will be there in his Grafix Dezine/ProMini/Supersprint MINI Cooper S....for those of you that don't know Phil he doesn't graphics for the MINI and they are very top notch. He will also be bringing the front spoiler from his Orciari Bodykit - not sure if he will have had time to paint it and get it installed by event or not...but check it out...installed or not he will have it with him

Then once your done with the event up there you can venture down to Tyler Texas for the Great MINI Roundup at BMP design / ProMini on October 11th where even more prizes will be given away(including a Skip Barber racing school gift certificate) plus we always give GREAT prizes to the person that drove the furthest!

I just registered for the autocross on Thursday, so you may still be able to register for the car show on Saturday as long as they don't have 100 cars. Address: 500 promenade blvd, bridgewater (bound brook), nj 08807 (08805).

Ant,

You can register for the car show tomorrow when you show up. Just bring cash for your registration fee and print out and fill out the form tonight. Be there by 9am, judging begins at 10am. Your car should definitely be entered. Plus, you get to vote for yourself!

The autocross was a blast!! My first timed trials were pretty wimpy. Then I rode as a passenger in the car of the guy who ultimately had the best non-modified MCS time as well as the best overall time. Aha!! I saw the light. The rest of the time was burning rubber, squealing tires and ABS activation!! My first trial after riding shotgun with him was over 5 seconds better than my previous ones!!! By 3 more trials I had shaved another second off of my time. And guys, you definitely don't need an MCS for this stuff!!

See you tomorrow!

I enjoyed the Autocross as well. Too bad I couldn't stay for longer. I definitely found the trick for the box turn in the far corner. Can you say E-Brake? It worked every time. Got me pointing in the right direction and had the fronts lit up on my way to the next turn. My best time was 35.3 seconds. Hw ow long did the event continue?
