Was a great time everyone! Thanks a lot to the MINI of New Jersey Club for all the goodies! I cant believe all the free stuff they handed out. Had a great time checking everyones ride and all the classics. (Even though comments were made from some classic owners about our cars). Was good to win the award for most electronics in a car! LOL. Was good to finally meet Jackman and the new folks! Tony, thanks for giving me the proper wires for the brake light mod! Eric from Helix is one of the nicest and most knowledgable guys when it comes to MINI. HELIX IS THE TUNER TO GO TO! Me and John had a great ride home playing highway tag. Got it up to 120 at one point (ssshhh dont tell anyone). Had a couple run ins with troopers on the way back, but no chase ensued! Again thanks everyone for a great time! Now someone post pics, my camera was one gadget I didnt have!

I think that every one had a good time. It was nice to get out there and put a face to the names. Had a great time discussing peoples cars, and their goals with the cars as well.

Thanks MONJ for the Very Well Put Together Event.

Thanks

Thank you Debbie Franks and MONJ for inviting us to your event! What a splinded collection of MINI and mini specimins. I REALLY liked getting a gander at those Mokes! Here's to the vendors for really making the scene.

I thought it was a very well organized event. Thank you so much for bringing us all together and giving us free stuff! No one should have left less than happy.

Great seeing everyone - Jackman, Tontobird, Ants, Tonymini, Jerseygirl, scarecrow and tinman....

Til OcktCOOPERfest 2004!

It was a great to see so many great MINI's & mini's. I concur with Antsmini as I heard comments thorough out the day. I got a good laugh when people were arguing about what meets the criteria for a "classic" mini during the announcement of the various awards. That being said, I will probably pass on next years octcoperfest.

OcktCooperFest was a great 2-day event.

Saturday's Autocross was my first, and I did leave a good taste in my mouth even with some rain (3rd out of Coopers), and with a hunger for more of those events (specifically MINIs/ Minis only). I loved the smell of tires on the wet asphalt. Great to see those older Minis tearing *** all over the course too. BTW, there was some talk of a late November Autocross right after the first snowfall of the season...

Sunday turned out to be a great day, nice crowd. At one point, sounded like the hotel was gonna have to hose down some of the Mini owners about their belly-aching. They shouldn't playa-hate against the MINIs.

Thanks MONJ for setting this whole deal up, along with all the goodies that came with it.

Eric

Good to see you too, GMINIo. Tried to get back from my Mini wanderings in time to say goodbye, but gone you were!

Thanks again to Debbie and the MONJ for organizing this event. I'll definitely be signing up for the 2nd Annual show next year.

It was great to get to put some more faces to the names I see on here. Didn't get to meet everyone, but there's always next year. I can't say I heard any disparaging remarks from any of the classic owners but then again I didn't spend a whole lot of time down in that area. I don't understand why they would have such a problem with the new cars. Get over it!

Thanks to the vendors who showed up. I would have gotten myself into some more debt had Helix been able to accept credit cards yesterday. No biggie. Instead, I got a great deal on some 16" take-offs with all-season run-flats for my winter driving. Princeton MINI is even going to drop them off at my house either today or tomorrow. Pretty nice of them. Now I need to get rid of the 15" rims/tires I already bought for winter.

And thanks again to Steve for giving me the Promini intake that he won in the raffle. Next time you put a ticket in for something make sure it's good for a Cooper and not an S.

I'd say the day was perfect except for the screw I managed to pick up in my tire. The tire pressure monitor alarm did not sound on the way home so I'm hoping the screw hasn't gone all the way in and maybe I can get it plugged instead of replacing it. Fingers crossed.

I must concur with everyones comments about the event yesterday. My family and I had a blast. Ant my wife and son loved your DVD sound setup. Congrats on the win. You truely are McGyver! Good luck in FLA. Email me if you want to take a blast before you leave. Tony and wife Wanda, thanks for the tail light mod very cool and quick, and especially for letting my son know about Chuck E Cheese. Keeping a 6 year old's interest was tough....Chuck came through. . Like your stripes Robyn..at least they are straight!!!!

High priase for Rich and Debbie from MONJ. It's the first event and I'm sure it will grow in time. We had Blast.....

I beleive some of the upcoming events is the annual Halloween party from Presitge, and Tony mentioned the Autocross at the Meadowlands....

Thanks again and great meeting everyone...

Thanks to MONJ for putting this together. I had a great time meeting owners and getting a chance to see the classic Mini's in action. And, of course, all of the MINI's, too.

I'm looking forward to next year's event.

(Jerseygirl, check your PM)
