Is anyone interested in doing the same (maybe a little differen't) route of Lithfield at night sometime in Aug?

Ok guys, I set the final date for the 16th of Aug. It will be a Saturday night. We will meet around 9:00pm in Litchfield. I still have to set up a meeting point and everything, so stay tuned for more to follow.

I might be able to make such an event Chris, it just depends on the date. I have few trips planned during the month of August.

hmm.. i dont know, seeing as a lot of the turns were blind.. doing it at night might not be the best idea... unless the streets are well lit...? i dunno.. chris have you run it at night? is that even an issue?

I am going to be busy the first week of Aug, so it has to be after that.

Nomonstersinme - I actually did the WHOLE route that night before the meet. I finished it at 3am. The streets are not lit at all I think, but that really isn't an issue. The good thing about doing it at night is that you can tell when another car is comming, so can or cannot hang the turn... . The one downside abot doing it at night is the deer...

I don't think I'll be down to CT at all in August. I'll be in NYC twice, having a party here one weekend, and probably wanting to just chill the other weekend.

Besides, I'd have the same concern as Hot Teeth - I was barely able to keep up with y'all safely in full daylight; I don't think I'd have as much fun at night. Seems kind of nerveracking. And there are so many deer this year!

All the same, hope it happens and that you have a good time.
C

CS I'll be there. Ants and I have done a night run from New Milford to Lakeville and back again. Tight curvey roads and yeah, all we saw were dear.

I would probably be down...if I could crash with someone for the night, so maybe a Saturday night? I would try to get some time off work if it was a Friday though. It would be really nerveracking I think too, that would make it exciting.

The first car has more of a chance of whacking a deer so the rest of us should be safe. Then again we would have that MINI wreck that John mentioned, if the first car were to hit one. We would have to spread out more I think and just regroup at the stop signs.

Sounds good to me...how about a Saturday night? John, don't you work on Saturdays? We would give a little more space between cars though...

On MINI2, John mentioned a weeknight due to less cops on the road...or is it because he has weekend nights off?! Either way I can generally get days off pretty easily if I just trade my shift with someone.

Wouldn't wanna drive back that night though.

which reminds me.. i was driving around tonight and four raccoons just ran out into the street.. they definitely just missed my tires...

Hey. Saturday night's the best for EVERYONE. I mean that. I'm even available for Saturday nights. However, EVERYONE means EVERYONE and every joyrider has got to be out on those roads, and every cop's gotta be lookin for their drunk a$$es. After midnight is good for an hour til bars close - Then you got a whole lot of the other animal to duck. Good side is that cops and drunkards will clear the roads of varmints.

It's all up to Chris for me - if his July 20th midnight run was clear, that's that. I'm in regardless.

Can we find pezboy a place to crash? He could stay at my place in New Milford but I AIN'T CLEANIN MY HOUSE! Plus a minus: my house is south of Litchfield. Then again **I MAY** be able to score him a room at the inn next door.

John - we saw a total of like 10 cars on the road in the middle of a Sun afternoon on the 20th. I think we are going to be OK with other cars, and cops. The cops stick to the main roads in Litchfield anyways.

As for the meet date, how does Aug the 16th sounds for everyone? I kight be able to do Aug 23rd too, but that might cut it a little too close to school. Let me know what date you guys want...

This run will rock...

Count me in, but Anthony can't use his "blinders" if he is driving behind me I swear you could feel the heat on the back of your neck when he turns his rally lights on, even in the daytime.

And marlon, you better stick to the rear, lest we get lost in your tire smoke and smack into a tree.

Some people are coming from Long Island, so maybe we can make it earlier like around 9.
