Hey Turbo Mini,
We met at the long island mini event in Bethpage and drove together on the LIE (I guess that would be my first mini rum) sorry I have been M.I.A. some family drama. Anyway I was thinking maybe you should combine a sunset run and 5 borough run to avoid traffic but still end it beautifully. If you need help planning let me know.

Ask for Eddie. Tell them Gene sent you. They did mine perfectly. Mainly work on high-end exotics but without the exotic price.

Just curious... have these guys done any detailing for you? I'm looking to get mine detailed... full clay, wax, possibly a polish. They look like they would do good work, but wondering what prices might be like.
I usually do it myself, but live an apartment, so don't have access to hose, or place/time to do the hand work.

hey, does anyone know a solid copper MCS owner from the NYC area?
the mini is solid copper color, painted arches, driving lights, aftermarket wheels, springs or coils cause its dropped, angel eyes in the parking lights.
passed the mini in my audi last night and was just curious.

I know they carry the [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][SIZE=2]M7/DDM cold air intake Stainless steel finish
If brand isn't an issue this is also a good intake. I'm not sure if they drop ship their intakes, sometimes they have them in stock on long island. If so you could probably pick it up.

The Summer Splash is put on by MINI of Fairfield County, with no affiliation to any group or forum - all that is celebrated is the fun that our MINIs bring us and bring us together.. It's going to be a great time like otra said.. ...I'm not sure I am going to be able to make it, but I'm sure as heck gonna try!

Good call on the sunrise run. If anyone feels that they can put it together, please feel free to use this thread in doing so. I'm still working on the 5 Boroughs Run which is proving to be rather difficult. The timing with traffic is always different. A large group is obviously going to get split several times so I'm trying to put "re-grouping" spots in at least each of the boroughs... etc blah blah

I am going to announce concrete details about the event on www.nemini.org and all registration/tees purchases will take place there just for my sanity of not having to check numerous MINI sites for interest.
As of now, there is a brainstorming thread:

hey guys ... the Sunrise Run is in full swing and WILL happen on September 7th. Have 22 cars already yayed in just 4 days and expect a full house that might have to be capped at 30-35 cars.
Tees are in the works for the event from Rally of Stance Design fame
