I love how you put "beat the cars up" in quotes. Your car is so low you really wouldn't have to try very hard to "beat" it up

I just bought my '05 MCS in November. I'm all for a NYC club! I just got back from AMVIV5 and spent a great time with the Westcoast MINI crowd. The drive to Death Valley was a blast.

We so need a club here in the city! I'm willing to pitch in whatever way is needed.

 

If only my mini could fit in the overhead compartment of an airplane so I can fly out to places like Death Valley for a run.

 

Dakota rode with meeeeeeeee! It was among the best roadtrips EVAR. He's a great Naviguessor...'cept for that part when he threw his hands up in the air, and our map became an airborn missle.

Humans are excitable and fallible, especially when riding in a mini. Get a GPS unit and mount it securely.

 

Actually it brought a whole new meaning to "shock & awe"! And "Garmin" was confused.... kept asking for honey in his tea.

Hey, I want to put some custom stripes on my bonnet when i pick up my car at mini manhattan the end of may. Im pretty sure they only put on the standard stripes at the dealer. Does anyone know where I can have stripes I order installed in the nyc area? Thanks

 

I'm down for the 27th. I'm getting ready to knock down my strut-shrooms. I got a JCW brace and wouldn't mind some help with installation

Who'd you buy the car from if you don't mind me asking, I'm close with everyone over there. Good people. If you buy the stripes ahead of time I'm pretty sure that they'd be able to install them ahead of time. You can call the service dept and ask for Hooman, or I'll just ask him this weekend..

Sorry I've been super MIA lately, MINY has CERTAINLY NOT sputtered out! Never think such terrible things I've started working on a 5boros run, but is a little more difficult than I had expected. If anyone has any kind of input and would like to help out, give me a heads up...

 

Hey Turbo, I bought the car from Lowri. Do you know her..super sweet. Im driving her nuts calling her every week. LOL She puts up with it cause she loved my bulldog when I brought him in to buy the car. I deniately want different stripes than the standard kind. Do you really think they will do it?

Of course I know her! How fun was it buying an english car someone with a british accent?? Anyways... I can't see why it would be a problem. Did you order the car with stripes? The process would obviously be less involved if they didn't have to first remove the factory stripes.. I'll talk to one of the service advisers there and ask him about it and let you know..
