Was this estimate at MOM? What other body shops are you familiar with in the area? I want to bring my car somewhere to realign my lower front bumper trim without buying new parts even though some tabs are broken. There are otherwise no dents or scratches.

Otherwise, I'll just have to figure out how to disassemble and glue things myself. Maybe it's time for an aftermarket body kit?

This weekend (Saturday night) is the New Years Eve Eve run! It ill go in and around the city and should be tons of fun. There will also be a stop for food. If people don't have plans I expect to see you out there! There was a link posted a few posts ago where all of the details can be found

There are a couple things that I know for sure of.
1. The Pz and brew party in CT
2. The very end (note sure of a specific date yet, but sometime during the last week of Jan) there i going to be a VERY important sit down meeting @ MINI of Manhattan. Details to follow.

What about the other run that you were working on? Have you done the test ride yet? I remember hearing that it may eat up my tires... Let me know.

 

Terrible weather hasnt been helping me plan the run, but when I get back to NY I will be taking Jeff on it to see if he likes it.

The run in NYC is normally on NYE Eve. However, this year that is a sunday and a lot of people have to work on the 31st so we moved it to the 29th.
I don't think you'd want to be anywhere near NYC in a car on the 31st. At least not near time square.

 

After speaking with TurboMini yesterday, we decided that the meet to kick off the year in true MINI fashion with some food and some MINI friends would be the afternoon of 20-January...

so guys, how was the new year's eve eve run? Couldn't make it cuz i was sick again (am a teacher, and the kids LOVE ME so much, they gave me their cooties), all through xmas and new year's :( but I'm back and Esmie and I are raring to go!!!!!!!!!!!
