Thanks for the welcome, I won't be able to do the Philly run, but I'll be going to the Prestige Drive in thing so I'd def be down for meeting up with you guys on that...I'll also be going to the Holloween event with a WICKED costum (as long as i finish it in time)

I psyched too, but I'm not going to be able to stay overnight cause I hafta work on sunday. But nothings going to be better than philly cheesesteaks from philly hahah.

BUT...... on a more sour note, I lost my video camera on the RLI-4 run. I've gone all through my car and my house and I can't find it anywhere. This is kind of a last ditch effort, but did anyone see it and maybe pick it up? the last time i remember having outside of the car was when we stopped on the beach on the Shelter Island for lunch... Its a silver Sony Mini DV.. PLEASE!! It would be SUPER awesome if someone found it!!!

Beyond that, all is good and I can't wait for saturday...

 

Kind of a random request but I got a set of M7 brake rotors for my birthday, anyone know how what they're doing when it comes to installing them? I think I should get them sometime next week and then we can set up a date to install

 

I am interesting in going. I would be coming from Northern Westchester. Where and when is everyone meeting up?

 

damn dude that sucks. i remember seeing the vacucam and the wires and such, but don't actually recall seeing your camera. Perhaps it's hiding in a backpack, or under the seat in the mini?

We are probably going to meet at the Riverside Drive exit before we get onto the GWB from the Henry Hudson Parkway in NYC. This would work for anyone coming from points North of NYC (Westchester, Rockland, Connecticut). The second meet point in Jersey would be the rest stop / service center that is south of the bridge that connects Staten Island with Jersey, for Islanders and Jersey folks. We have not yet finalized the meeting spots, but I'm sure that will be done Friday or Saturday morning, the latest.

Check back here for final stopping points, and let's have a blast on Saturday night. We have several people going - this is going to be great!!

The story is this. We plan on leaving Connecticut at 7pm Eastern Time. We're going to be rendezvousing at the 181st and Amsterdam Shell Station at about 8, give or take.. then we're crossing GWB by 8:30 or so.. then we stop at the Thomas Edison Service Center to pick up at least pedrocooper and whomever else is coming from the Island and New Jersey.... putting us in Philly by about 10:30-11... these are estimated times..

Ok, i will be meeting at he Edison rest stop becasue to get from Brooklyn to the UWS on a saturday evening will take forever.

What time will people be at the rest area then, little before 9?...

I will be rendezvous-ing at the Jersey rest stop as well. i do have a walkie talkie and will have it on channel 7, (sub #?). I think planning to be there by nine is a good idea... just in case they don't hit traffic coming over the bridge lol, agree? Ok, see you all later! I made the cookie cutter this morning so yes, I'm bringin the cookies !

Looks like I'm the first to report back about this event.

I had a passenger and we met TurboMini and his passenger on 181st and Amsterdam. Next, we headed over to the Thomas Edison Service Center, in Jersey.. met up with IMTHING1 +1... then we caught up with Drew L. +1 in Philly...

Sorry to have missed anyone who couldn't make it. We were looking forward to it - although, with the MINI gang we had, a grand time was had by all!

The cheesesteaks were scrumptious... YUMMY. I love those things.
