Spotted a Dark Mini S possibly Green or Black with white top & mirrors with sunroof. Woman and man in car. At the intersection of Rt 30 & 190 in Stafford CT. Made a left onto rt 190 headed towards Somers/Enfield. I waved but they didnt see me, Plus I was in a Jeep not my MINI.
That could have been me. I was probably too concerned with the morons who can't seem to grasp the concept of Yield in that rotary.

Mini Spotting
Usually in the Stafford area on Mondays and Friday coming from Southingotn in a pepper white/black roof "S" going to the speedway. Will have to look for you all in my travels. Have see a couple on Rt30 heading to Crystal Lake area.
I sent you a PM...Which way do you come to the speedway? Rt 30 past Cystal Lake?
So I was back in the Stafford/Somers area for New Years and maybe someone saw our NFR for the few hours is was sitting in Stafford on New Year's Day
Heading east on 190, right before the town strip of Stafford, after you pass that grocery store and the Methodist church, there is that steep downgrade where the road curves left, there's a traffic island, and 140 goes off to the right.
It was snowing and the road was at that moment was apparently frozen solid. We slid straight forward onto that island, over a rock-hard snow embankment and through a bush or two. Fortunately we missed the telephone poll and stopped before the two-foot drop off on the other end of the island.
Everyone is fine, the MINI should be OK, with bumper and radiator damage. You can look for our tracks if you go by there anytime soon!

I'm so sorry
Sorry to hear about your off-road adventure in the snowstorm the other day. I cringed when I read about it, for we're not just damaging a car, we're damaging our beloved MINI's, which is like doing damage to ourselves!

My in-laws drove by there yesterday, they said we did rip up one of those bushes pretty good! You can check out our handiwork!
Still gonna be a good week til we get the car back, but still again that it wasn't worse!

Kevin, I'd tried to respond to your PM, but I got a response saying your profile didn't accept PM's. So, below is what I tried to send. If you want to try and hook up sometime, send me a PM with some contact details. Ray
<<Kevin,
Funny you should mention an Interstate MINI experience. Last Thursday I was travelling back up to Rockville from Middletown about 4pm and there were 3 MINI's sort of playing tag up I-91 and then out I-84 East. One was a MY with plates that said GR8 TIMES, though I couldn't make out the state. The other was a Red-Black combo. I say we were "sort of" playing tag because they were both on their phones, so they never really acknowledged me when I tried to give them a thumbs up.
Anyway, give me a call sometime (960-992-4111) if you would ever like to get together and compare notes. I'd love to try and get some others from around here together, but unless they're also on NAM, how would we contact them?
Take care, Ray Dupere>>
