Great hookin up with you guys for a surprisingly catchy film. Campy as could be, but actually fun to watch and make fun of. Having never been to LA, I always thought Miami was a lot like it. I will have to get some NOS for my MINI so I will go all blurry and lean way back in my seat when i press a button. Actually tried it on the way home with the dead button on the MSFW. Save a few bucks that way.

Yeah I didnt realize Crown Victorias and PT Cruisers could do 120 with ease. Was fun hanging with you guys though and gettin some laughs. Man Paul Walker CAN NOT act.

Nah. Some respect was due. However, I could NOT contain myself when I saw a couple of shiny PT Cruisers joining the mix. Hilarious!

Yeah....that was pretty bad. And it's not like it was just one either.

 

They made it look VERY ricey in this movie and thats what I was talking about. It had graphics all over it, neon underbody and one of those huge *** metal wing spoilers. And yes it is fast as hell (see my post in "EVOwned" thread) but it looked like a total ricer in this movie. That car is just fine stock.

 

A "ricer" is a slow car that the owner attempts to give the illusion that it is fast. Like a Civic with a big exhaust and wing (but no turbo or anything) or when people rebadge their cars to be something that it isn't. The term doesn't apply to cars that a ACTUALLY FAST. Sometimes cars have big spoilers for a reason....a Geo wouldn't need a spoiler, but the Evo would. It's just an aftermarket part. It's ugly, but it serves a purpose.

 

It is just a weird mix. Yeah she is aingle I think, but I would advise you to steer clear. LOL...

If you read the new issue of sport compact car they say that those cars actually aren't that fast, mostly due to all the strain put on them during shooting. That skyline in the movie is so cool! I got to drive my cousins gt-r while I was in Japan, damn that cars fast! That evo is cool too, haha did anyone see the evomned thread?

I think there was too much neon lights on the cars though, kinda made it look too ricey.

No we just decided to be friends. she was very nice, and I like her a lot but we just didnt have much in common, was no "sparks".

She actually enjoyed it. She likes the MINIs. More than I can say for some of the others...
