hey i was just wondering if any one knows how to get the phone feature to work on the car...i have a 2005 Cooper S and i dont know how to get the phone feature to work. Let me know thanks!!!

 

The buttons don't do anything unless you also buy a Bluetooth kit that uses them. They're really there to tease you otherwise!

I'm moving the thread to Navigation & Audio, where a lot of the Bluetooth discussion happens.

 

As Edge said, you have to have the phone kit installed to use them. It is very expensive from BMW but there are other options. EAS has a kit that is about 900 dollars and www.newministuff.com has a kit that will set you back about 300 dollars. Both will use the buttons on the steering wheel.
