Navigation & Audio where to put the amp (not killing my trunk)?

There is room under the front passenger seat. But not for a huge amp. There is a significant amount of padding under the carpet. You will have to do a little digging to get the available dimensions. Someone posted their installaion several years ago. You should be able to find it. Or you can always pull the seat, pull up the carpet and measure for yourself. Remember to have the ignition off when you disconnect the seat wiring, and do not turn the ignition back on until you reconnect the wiring. (or else the Airbag warning light will come on and stay on)

Under front seats
Under the carpet is a piece of polystyrene, I removed that and fitted a 9mm thick board to screw the amp onto. Then cut the carpet around the amp
The amp fitted there is a Genesis Dual Mono and there's another one under the other seat
It measures 300 x 210 x 62mm (roughly 12 x 8.25 x 2.5 inches)
The attatchment shows the available space which someone else measured

I'm not too sure what kurv's link showed since it won't open for me... but here is another idea.
Make a false floor out of peg board (plus you can customize the paint job like I did)

Are you planning on putting an aftermarket sub in there too? Or are you just planning to have the amp run new speakers in the current positions?

ehehe thats my car!
Ive cleaned things up considerably since then, and also, now have an amp under both of my front seats
nice beefy mono block under the driver side, running my 12" sub in the rear, and a 4Channel amp under the passenger seat running the front/rear component sets.
sounds is fabulous. I can remove the sub box inside of 15seconds. with the sub box removed, I have a 100% oem looking interior except for the alpine head unit, which happens to match the interior perfect
