Euro radio?

Ok...I need help again...Msfitoy suffered a battery drain overnight and I had to jump start it this morning to get to the MIS track event and everything appeared fine until I found myself looking for my XM and AM stations...they were gone! XM was no go but the AM was now on shortwave/longwave

Any ideas guys?

So you dont have the normal radio but a Euro version. First time the battery died? Maybe it has a code you need to enter

Hmm. I dont understand the shortwave thing, you mean your radio gets the shortwave frequencies and now AM is on that band? That is too weird as in impossible.

I would check the fuse, if there is one, to the xmdirect box that is powered in the back. Maybe it tripped when power was applied. That can make sense.

Sounds like you need to go into the hidden menu and change it back to USA.

Check here to get the steps.

I'm not sure but I think there is a code that I got with mine. It might be in the radio manual. I will check to be sure.

Use the link Daflake provided above or search this forum. You will need to get into the 'service' or hidden menu to change the region code for the headunit and you'll be fine.
Here are a couple of the NAM links describing the functions of the hidden menu:
