Remote services stopped working!

Remote services stopped working!

Hi everyone. I have a 2019 Countryman with iconic trim which includes remote services. Up until this week I was able to lock and unlock and check vehicle status and turn on the climate remotely using the app. Suddenly my app says that my vehicle doesn’t support these services. My car just turned 3 so I assumed that I would need to subscribe. I called Mini support who said I needed a subscription and I needed to call the dealer. They haven’t gotten back to me. This am on my way home from work I called Mini Concierge from the car. They told me that my car doesn’t have remote services (it does tho!). Then they said that remote services is no longer available for my car and that remote services stops working after 3 years (which doesn’t make a lick of sense to me since it’s has had this since I purchased!). And then they said that there was a software update and my car wasn’t included and I can’t update the software. Nobody seems to have the same answer (and definitely not the one I want lol!)

incidentally I have friends with the same make model and trim lines who are not having issues.

also- when I go to MyGarage DASHBOARD on Mini USA that site has been down forever (when I searched for how to subscribe to remote services for BMW it gave instructions to do to MyGarage.BMWUSA.con so I thought I would try that.)

Does anyone have any experience with this or know a number I can call that can actually help?

I realize this is a tiny problem in the grand scheme of the world today but i really liked being able to lock and unlock my car and turn on the a/c remotely esp with summer coming up (and esp since I paid for this feature when I purchased the car.

Same problem with my 2019 F57. You get 4 years of free Connected services and then you’re on your own. My car was produced March 2018 and delivered May 2018, so I’ve just recently crossed the 4-year mark, and the remote services stopped working the day after the official 4-year anniversary of my delivery date. I’ve been working with my dealer and MINI USA to try and resolve the issue. Apparently, MINI will be offering remote services packages, but they’re not ready yet. So supposedly MINI extended my remote services (and presumably, others) until the end of this calendar year. However, the remote services still don’t actually work. My dealer is continuing to follow up with MINI USA.

I can’t math.

I got my car in May of 2018 duh. This is beginning to make sense!

I, like you, actually used the remote services so I’m looking forward to them being restored. Hopefully soon! I’ll keep this thread updated if I remember!

Could you share your dealer info and point person so I can share that with it service writer. He is having trouble getting answers. Thank you!

My dealer is MINI of Allentown (Pennsylvania). They haven’t figured it out yet, by the way. They were told a solution was in place, but still no remote services in the app or the car (including things like no traffic info). So, they’re reporting it all back to MINI, not sure who specifically they’re working with.
