F60 No keyless entry on Signature Trim?
I took delivery today of a 2019 Signature Trim Countryman SE. According to Mini's website and the dealer's website, the car should have "Comfort Access" keyless entry standard:
https://www.miniusa.com/model/hybrid...ountryman.html
It says: "COMFORT ACCESS - STANDARD - Leave the keys in your pocket with our keyless entry feature. Comfort Access adds a transceiver to your key that your MINI will recognize, letting you lock or unlock the car by pushing a button on the door handle"
My car does not have this feature. There is no little black button on the driver's door handle to push to lock/unlock. How is that possible? Did I get some sort of odd build? This is a huge feature for me, I can't believe i didn't notice it before leaving the dealership with the car. Does anyone else have a 2019 Countryman SE without keyless entry?
Thanks,
Sean

To verify the build, I would go to http://bimmer.work and input the last 7 of your VIN. This will report back to you everything that was built into your car at the factory, including Standard Equipment and Options. Comfort Access System should be code 322 (at least it was on my 2018 JCW, and I believe these codes do not change for different cars). If it's in the build specifications and not on your car, or if it's not in the build specs and the car was actually ordered as a Signature Trim by the dealer, this will at least give you a starting point for the "Huh? WTF?" discussion you will undoubtedly be having with the dealer.

I took delivery of a 2019 MCS on Friday with signature trim and I've been using the keyless entry since then. Sounds like something was mis-built unless the Countryman has different signature trim options than the 2-door hardtop.
Here's another site you can try: https://bmwvin.com . I just tried it a minute ago with my own VIN and it worked. I think it works with either the last 7 or the complete 17 VIN. This site shows the Comfort Access code as S322A. I've uploaded a screenshot from this site showing the code.

Thanks Bob. That second site worked. Code 322 is not listed in the build, which makes no sense to me. It's clearly listed as a standard feature on the MiniUSA site, as well as the description the dealer had on its website. I've got a call into the dealer to see what's up. I'm hoping is as simple a fix as swapping out the door handles with the ones with the buttons, and not a whole rewire. Keyless start/ignition works, so maybe it's already wired for keyless entry.

(Oops...I meant Signature trim....) Signature trim listed on the LET'S MOTOR Window Sticker?
Circling back on this thread to provide an update/conclusion: after talking it through with my dealer (Schomp in Denver), they agreed to let me return the vehicle for a credit with them, which I used to purchase an Iconic trim SE, paying the difference between the two vehicles. They honored the same discount I'd received on the original purchase, so basically I was only out the $1k or so additional cost for the Iconic trim. The keyless entry works great, and I'm digging the kick-to-open tailgate and the HUD too. So, a good ending. Just beware Signature trim buyers: not all SE's have comfort access standard, despite what the website says.
BTW, my recent purchase was from Mini of Loveland so we must be in the same general area (I'm in Arvada).
No bait and switch... I'd wanted the Iconic all along, but they couldn't find one with the color scheme I wanted, so I gave up waiting and compromised with a Signature Trim. After the keyless mess, they were able to find a suitable Iconic from another dealer and had it shipped. I'm satisfied with how it worked out in the end, though I'm still a bit miffed that MiniUSA advertised comfort access as standard.

Same issue.... the signature package shows comfort access on the website but my car wasn't built with it, and on the navigation package it shows wireless charger which also mine was missing....Dealer went to bat, Mini admitted packages changed a bit between production and what website listed, as the signature package code is different then what it is now. Very happy with the outcome as the cash incentive to keep the car outweighed the two options....
Interesting, when did you guys order your cars? I placed my order on June 5th for a F56 S with signature trim and got the listed keyless entry and wireless charger with the nav package. I didn't care about the charger (my phone is too old to support it, but when I upgrade it will be nice I guess) and didn't really care about the keyless entry until I got it 7 weeks later. Now I love that feature.
As of today those options are still listed on the builder on miniusa.com. I'm just surprised that they are continuing to sell themt aht way if they don't come that way.

You're probably right. But the build for that model still lists comfort access keyless entry under the Signature trim on the website.
