Digital Cluster Install Assistance

Needing some assistance from the experts on here to get a digital cluster installed in my 2016 JCW. Originally had the 6.6” system in the car with no nav and no HUD. Have since retrofitted a 8.8” system in the car with NAV and ID5 (so NBT Evo I believe). Ran a MOST cable to the new head unit but there’s no light coming from the cable even after flipping the pins on the connector plugging into the head unit.

Consequently, when I turn the car on before coding, I have no working fuel gauge and no working rev counter. Is my MOST cable not working for some reason? Or is there another issue at fault here?

When ESYS is connected and running for the coding, KOMBI doesn’t show up as a module in the tree after changing the build date and adding 6WB to the vehicle order. Assuming the lack of a light from the MOST cable is also playing a part in this. Can plug the original cluster in and get BKOMBI to show up in the tree.

What are some possible solutions?

It’s been a long while since I completed my retrofit so my knowledge is a little cloudy but one thing you could do is to activate the MOST output in the NBT EVO through ESYS

So just activated the MOST output and now have a red light on one side of the cable shining. However KOMBI still is not showing up in the ECU tree in ESYS and have tried swapping pins on the MOST cable in the event it was backwards. Still no dice. Any ideas to get KOMBI to show up?

if you check the coding for the NBT_Evo, there’s also a coding option for the KOMBI module, it should be set to Kombi_high maybe that’s all you need for it to be detected, hopefully at least if not we can keep trying to figure it out

This is what’s been changed:
KOMBI_CIC: set to kombi high
EXTERNER_MOST: set to aktiv
