I'm thinking to get BAZOOKA in my car, but I just want to see how many people have it?...and where did you put it?

I have two...they are great...in my case though I do not have back seats....so it's easy.... and they are the NOS type so they look kewl...
I have used bazookas since before I could drive as my brother got me into them....He used to let me help him with all kinds of car stuff since i was like 10 or 12....it's great cause althoguht I didn't know what I was doing...once I was old enough to drive I was way ahead of the curve....
so if I had back seats I would prolly just get to 6 in. tubes...one powered one slave and hook them together in the boot facing opposite directions at the sides of the cart....they werk best this way....and that way when you want more bass you just lower the seats....I say 6 in. cause I assume you still want a good amount of space in the boot...Plus...it's a mini...not a whole lot of air to move...there really isn't a need for more if you have good components
does that help?

I had two eights non amplified in my old mustang. They were pretty good and when I needed the space I pulled them out. I sold the pair on ebay for $75 last year.

i put a rockford fosgate bp 600 in the boot above
the battery . it;s a old one that i updated with a new speaker&.
fit perfect with amp. under passenger seat. not boom-boom sound,
justmore soild bass. the new model rft 4061 looks like about the same.

Because they weren't self powered they were hooked up to a four channel amp that was set to two channels. A power cable was run thru the firewall to connect the battery to the amps. I had a little whine but I put in a filter and that pretty much eliminated it.

Self powered should be good. How many watts does it put out? My coworker has one in his jeep cherokee and it thumps enough for you to hear it. I am not sure of the settings though.

If you have a stock radio there are ways to wire it into the radio...you can get a module that will allow you to tap into the sound...but I always recommend after market radios....that's just me though...heh heh...
as for the AMP in the self powered...they are great...they are made for them by them...

I've been looking at the self-powered Bazooka tubes, too. They have speaker level inputs, so you could use the rear speakers to get a signal to the sub. All you would have to run to the front of the car is the power cable.
My car is an '03, so I don't have the power outlet in the boot.
For any other year car, I bet you could use that to power the Bazooka.

Definetely be able to use that. Anyone show me where I can get a decent one that simple to hook up to the rear speakers? Ive got a few extra bucks layin around this month that I can tie up some little stuff with.

Yeah lets see a pic of the set up.. been toying around with the idea of placing two of the White Nos tubes in the back alone witha 15" flat panel screen, xbox , etc. for a show package at car shows. All the stuff i do on the Mini is Modular. I have a two part false floor so i can put in or take out the rear seats and have a cargo area. Upon which i can put different type of show and go packages. A twin 12 MB Quart box. An add on to the box that allows for the TV and xbox which i currently use for shows only. A real NOS bottle from my brothers car not hooked up also for show only
