Apple Car Play Phone Call Delay

Apple Car Play is a new thing for me, however I've noticed my phone conversations are delayed 2-3 seconds.

Has anyone noticed this as well? And if so, is there a fix?

Not a problem on a 2018, what IOS version are you rocking?

Im running the same IOS version on an X, never had a delay via CarPlay calls. Is there the same delay via normal Bluetooth calls?

I have not tried it with just Bluetooth. I know it's not when I used BT on my other vehicle or ear buds.
