Wiring question w/ newministuff adapter for Kenwood head unit

My question relates to a kenwood head unit, along with using the proper boost adapter from newministuff.com. Do I just T the kenwood harness into the newministuff adapter and just plug and play?

I already wired to the adapter came w/ the crutchfield kit that is required for normal install, so I'm going to cut that off and do it to the newministuff adapter.

I just wanted to confirm before doing double the work, given that I already had a head start.

Thanks

I could help If you could link the items you've bought. I've never been to a Crutchfield as they don't have them in the UK.

Wouldn't you just buy a BMW-ISO adaptor for $5 on eBay and plug it into the kenwood ISO port?

Thats the one that crutchfield provided. This is the same as the one I believe you speak of, however, the issue is not the crutchfield adaptor. If I used that adaptor then I could not use the steering wheel controls, so I purchased one of Newministuff, but it came w/ no instructions. So I T the kenwood harness into the newministuff harness, but there is a few remaining plugs and wire left unconnected, which I do not know what do w/ them.

He does not provide a picture of the harness on his website, and is no longer responding to emails.... waste of $70...

So the newministuff thing is probably a connects2 BMW-ISO adaptor, where the acronym ISO includes Industry Standard.

So likely that the pioneer being a US model terminated in bare wire because for some reason they are stuck in the 90s for US variants.

So I'm guessing, and stop me if I'm wrong, that instead of adding ISO blocks to the Pioneer you have cut the ISO blocks from the BMW-ISO adaptor and there are wired left over on the Pioneer that you can't find a match for.

Sorry for all the guesswork but really I cant see anything that you are working with so I have to guess most of it.

Yea I should have taken a picture of the harness prior to install. When I try messing with it again I will take pictures.

I'm confused by your explanation. So once I get pictures I will post them up and it will help clear up the confusion. Thank you for your assistance. I just feel scammed out of my money from Newministuff for not providing instructions.

OK so I'm back on a proper computer.

My guesses are you have bought this

And you needed these

But you cut the wiring so you need this
