I haven't had any problems with mine...

I got past the wrong direction scrolling by using the rounded graphic on the left side of the screen. If you want to scroll down you roll counter-clockwise around the "circle".

Try the new iOS update (6.1). 6.0 had a problem with a sluggish UI until you paused a playing song, and then it seemed to clear up. I filed a bug report with Apple, and it appears to have been addressed. Things seem snappy now.

So I've been using my iPhone 5 with the Mini usb iPod adapter and the lightning adapter with no problems... Today, while plugged in and listening to music my iPhone just shut off and restarted.... Plugged it back in, and now it's not being recognized by the mini....?!?!? It's charging, but not recognizing as a USB connection. Anyone have this problem?

I also have been using my iPhone 5 with a lightning adaptor and the y Adaptor (only with audio functions - mini connected was too flaky), but today it was jumping tracks and turning off.

Is this down to the 6.1 update? I notice that I can now access music controls while plugged in, when before it would say "Accessory Connected"

Just to let you all know that I was driving around for an hour tonight and the iPhone app sticked together all the time, on an iPhone 5. I don't know if this will continue, hopefully yes, but can't give a definitive answer on the updated app stability. Other people who updated and have an iPhone 5 please share your experiences.

I'am taling about MINI Connected 2.4.0 which rolled out this morning (Feb 28, 2013). Also I'm using the latest version of iOS. Only thing I noticed is that I can't check in with Foursquare in an easy way as I did before, now you have to search what's around and select the place you're on at that time, but if it doesn't come in the recommended list, you have to keep browsing for places. Before you could simply select the Check In button.

Any other updates?

I can confirm that the new version of the MINI Connected app has improved functionality for me anyway. It used to just cut out after about 15 minutes. I would have to restart the iPhone 5 in order for it to be recognized again.

Ever since the update came out, it's been rock solid for me. The update info didn't make much of a mention of the technical improvements. But I did notice that the display is iPhone 5 compatible now. No more black bars at the top and bottom. Hopefully they got most of the bugs for the iPhone 5 worked out.
