Kick panel wiring connector

I'm talking about the wiring plug x9331 that the speaker level signals go through, the one you tap into for signal.

My question is if the plug is the same in a 2005 MCS as a 2009 MCS. I might have a lead on a 2005 that I can cut the whole plug assembly with a couple inches of wire on each end, and them make my own connector so I don't have to modify the stock wiring. Basically build a harness like that guy in the UK makes that is supposed to be $$$$.

Thanks!

As a 2005 is a 1st Gen and the 2009 is a 2nd Gen ALL the wiring is different including that of the audio system. So No it will not work for you.

You can though buy the connector parts here in the USA. Check the threads that go over the wiring on the X9331 and in one of them there will be info on where to buy the connectors and pins.
