Any ideas on playing DVD movies on the nav system screen? It is DVD driven, but seems to only accept a DVD with the maps. I would love to come up with a mod that would allow playing movies.

Go to nav-tv.com, it is one company that makes a converter thing. Granted it is very expensive. also look at these forums:

Contact Antsmini, he actually had this done to his car last year, I believe it cost $1500

 

I found a new company that makes a seemless integration like nav-tv.com: TVonNav.com. And it is cheaper at $899 but that is still expensive. It says that you can change the channel (for TV) with the steering wheel controls (if you have them). Cool, but expensive.
