im looking for a sound system for my new MCS and i dont know what set up i need. i have no price limit but i dont want to spend my money on the wrong thing. i need a good amount of base and a clean look. what do you think is the best opition?

I just replaced the system in my r53.
-dvd head unit from wallyworld
-polk 6 1/2 coax (db series)
-polk 6x9 (db series)
-crossfire 2ch 300 watt amp

I mounted the amp under the passenger seat and removed the h/k grills in the doors to mount the 6 1/2's. I am very impressed with the sound quality. the bass is tight and clean. not boomy like the h/k speakers. the mid range is awesome and the highs are nice and crisp. I have put polks in almost every car i have owned.
installing everything was a pain. i had to remove the rear seats, the passenger seat and also the door panels.

 

What year is it, just curious? A little more sig info on the car is helpful.

They have developed a custom system for our Minis

 

@yetti96 its brand new with just a stock audio sytem in it and im tired of cheap factory sound.

@OKCdancer does the integral audio system include door speakers and back seat speakers or is it just the amp and the sub. BTW, i like how the sub and amp are hidden

 

Integral is coming out with a complete system.
