So after months and months of not being able to use the Bluetooth hands free, I can now be understood while driving at highway speeds. The mic has been moved to the driver side, and I had even covered the inside of the upper center air vent. The vent is not the easiest thing to remove and replace. Everybody said they heard wind blowing across the mic.

A few months ago the local MINI dealer told me it was the run flats. After the new Yokohama tires, I still had the noise when in a hands free call.

The last trip to MINI to get a new third brake light, I mentioned that the tires had not fix the problem. The tech came out and said he knew how to fix the problem. Turns out the sunroof gasket wasn't sealing tight. I did have a lot of noise on the highway and about 70% of that was caused due the seal. Which also caused the wind noise across the mic.

With the new sunroof seal installed, I can actually be heard driving at highway speeds. No more wind across the mic sound and the cab is a lot quieter.

It's a lot easier to dial numbers by the factory Nav, with everything working like it should.
