Car Deck's that are compatible with steering wheel?

I'm looking to upgrade my H/k deck with something that can control and recharge my Iphone 4 and needs to be compatible with the steering wheel buttons. It would also be nice to have Blutooth as well.

I've browsed NAM but didn't really find anything relating to my topic.

Any help would be great. I have a R50 2006.

Cheers

Alpine has a few head units that will work, you may need to get a control module to interface it. Mine works great, and charges the IPOD also

like he said almost all units will require an interface module to get the steering wheel controls to work and some depending on the deck have bluetooth built in and some are just bluetooth capable and still need another module.

I have no experience with the newer MINI steering wheel controls but I changed out the deck in my Xterra and got a steering wheel module, and it was never the same, I rarely use the steering wheel controls anymore, could just be a oneoff experience though..

Thanks for the tips, I assume the steering modules is sold by the deck manufacturer?

I'll have to dig a little deeper to see what's compatible or not.

First, you can't just pop an HU in with the HK system. You will need an adapter for that as well.

Check www.newministuff.com and talk to Mikey. He can help you get setup with the right stuff.

I'll simply consider an intergration then.

This would save me money on the long run. Guess I'll look at Isimple or Dice.

Unless you guys know something else is out there that would make my Iphone charge + work + keep the functions on my wheel.

Thanks guys.

Dice might be your best bet at this point. I use the Intravee II as my interface but sadly it doesn't support the newer iPhones.

If you are looking at a headunit, you might look at this...

Mike's kits are basically plug and play and if you tell him what HU are you getting BEFORE you buy it he can tell you if he has a kit that will work.
