Buyer Beware

While perusing eBay Motors I came across a car in which I am interested, at an attractive price. The description included the word "Navigation." Only upon a careful review of the fine print, and close look at the photos, did it become apparent that the "Navigation" was to be a portable GPS unit included in the deal. Pretty discusting, in my opinion.

Well, mini sells a dealer installed Garmin nav system( custom made for mini) and it not cheap it is around $900.00 with installation and it hard mounted next to the left of the tachometer and it has mini splash screen and features mini cars in different colors as pointers. I personally prefer this dealer installed nav system over the factory nav as it is easier to use and see as it is right in front of you. I do not know if the mini you were looking at had this nav but if it did it is a very good system

I know I've probably seen that same ad! Wasn't it at a dealership too? I was looking around trying to find good comps for a realistic sales price for selling my car... I saw "Navigation" in the listing. I thought, "Oh wow... mine doesn't have Navigation". And then I read the fine print... neither did theirs! And I think you have to pay full price to get that portable GPS! What a joke.

*If I remember correctly, it wasn't anything to be "dealer installed"... just "handed to" (I think).

Actually, the car I was looking at on eBay was a Lexus RX350.
