Anyone have experience with eas eAmp module?
hello there,
i searched around the boards a bit but couldn't find any info related to the eAmp module on eas site.
Has anyone installed this? Does it really allow you to install an aftermarket HU AND still use the HK amps?? Where exactly does this module plug in? There isn't an actual photo of the module on the website, so i don't know how it looks. Is it big?
Any info on this module would be greatly appreciated! TIA!

following up on my own thread......
the eAmp module works great! I'm finally able to painlessly put in an aftermarket HU and still utilize my HK amp (which powers the speakers).
It is a little bassy, but im able to compensate with my headunit's built in EQ.
Overall, it was a fairly easy install and im happy to have BT and iPod integration with text! Lovin' that!!!
Here's a pic of my install

I can't seem to find any detailed info on this eAmp module. I'd like to keep the factory HK amp and speakers, but change the headunit to something aftermarket so I could drive an amp for a subwoofer as well as have bluetooth and good ipod control...
