Those of you who have the convenience package....

Where are the Ipod/usb connections located?

Under the A/C controls or in the secret compartment?

Also, what is inside the armrest?

Any pictures would be appreciated

iPod/USB and audio jack connections are under the climate controls. The armrest has a place to add a phone cradle but I'm not getting one of those so the compartment is empty.

Only if you have the Bluetooth option.

i dont think i have the USB port but i have the convenience package and premium package (so i have the bluetooth) but no USB. i do have the AUX input which is enough for me. i believe the USB port is only installed if/when you have the ipod intergration. for the $525 my dealer told me it would cost, the $6 AUX cable from radioshack does the trick

Are you sure you have the convenience package? I was under the impression that all convenience packages come with the comfort bluetooth, but I'm still a bit confused about the inclusion and location of the usb/aux ports.

Maybe your usb is in the secret compartment?

If there is a USB port on the Mini it will be in the center console as shown in this picture. The cable is attached in the picture. USB left wire and AUX right wire. Unless of course you moved it like someone did here on the forums

I believe USB is only on MY08 vehicles. I don't think it was available on MY07...

It is like that every year. MY09 cars have a full USB music connection in the armrest for smartphones (for $100). No more iPod Y-Adapter with separate aux-in for sound, and the resulting sound quality loss...

Mine is in the same spot, but angled differently so that it's a whole lot more inconvenient to get to. Strange.

No. The USB is right next to the Aux In like the picture above shows. The plug on the left us USB, the plug on the right is Aux In.
