What part of my car should I Dynamat?

In the next few weeks, I will be putting in a new stereo system in my 07 Mini S including installing a Sub-woofer in the boot, speakers and 2 amps. I was thinking of having Dynamate installed in the boot. What other areas of the car should be Dynamated? Thanks....

Then there is the front. Even with Dynamat everwhere in the back, a fair amount of sound comes in the front. Someday, I'll probably do the front floors. The doors are very difficult to do.

Hey Robin, you may have mentioned this before, but how much did the dynamat help? I know it may be hard to tell since you said a good amount of road noise comes from the front as well, but do you deem dynamat in the rear alone to be worthwhile??? I'm not at all familiar with the product, hence my questions.
THANKS

Well, I added some acoustic batting under the side panels and where the seats used to be as well. So, difficult to just assess the Dynamat. However, I drove the car with the rear seats removed and it was LOUD! The combination Dynamat and batting did make a big difference in the sound coming from the rear. Is it silent back there? No. Do I want the front done? Yes.

I did my last car with about 150lbs of the stuff. Made a decent bit of difference. Ended up taking it all out and enjoying the weight savings.

Robin,
Was it easy to take out the rear side panels? What is the appx cost of the dynamat.

www.edesignaudio.com and www.b-quiet.com sell sound mat that's much cheaper in comparison to dynamat. I'm finishing up my car today

Pulling the rear panels was a bit scary because I'd never done anything like that before. The B and C pillars come out as well. Be careful around the air bags in the C pillar.

The hardest part was putting them back and getting all the snaps to line up.

I bought a Dynamat Xtreme Bulk Pak (36 sq ft) from CarDomain.com for $170 but they don't seen to have it listed now. It was more than enough for the back. You would need more to do the front as well.
