Cleansweep and DICE Questions

For those of you using the Cleansweep, how does it wire up with an external amp? I realize that there are RCA outs that would run from the Cleansweep to the amp, but what do you need to do to get the amplified signal to the speakers?

I'm assuming that stereo wire is run back to the head unit, but does it require cutting any of the wires on the wiring harness and wire-nutting them to the ones coming from the amp? Or can you somehow use a wiring harness kit to avoid any splicing?

My second set of questions are around the DICE+Cleansweep vs the Alpine IDA-X001. Are the seek times better on one setup vs the other? Is the sound quality better on one than the other?

I'm not planning on adding a sub, just a 4 channel amp to power a pair of Polk components in the front and 6x9s in the back.

Thanks in advance

I can answer the DICE question for you - the seek times are dependent on the iPod, not the DICE itself.

No Cleansweep users out there running an amp? I'm really curious how it all wires up.
