Radio / Nav stays on after car turned off?
2nd day with car: I've got convenient access, and when I press the start/stop button after motoring, the radio and nav stay on. Will they automatically turn off after a while? I'm pressing the start/stop button twice right now to ensure the car turns off all the way!

When you press the off button, make sure you hold it for a second longer, then the mini logo appears on the nav screen and everything powers down.
Also, if you press the start button when the Mini is off and you do not have your foot on the brake, it turns all electrical on like you are in accessory mode with a traditional key....you can then listen to the radio without the car running......

Yes, good tip. I generally just hit the button twice to do the exact same thing (as long as you're not stepping on the clutch that is. Otherwise you'll just restart the car with the second push.).
Also, if you have Comfort Access, then you can just hit the start/stop button once to stop the engine, get out and close the door, and then hit the little black button on the outside door handle, it will automatically turn the radio/nav off when the car locks. I use this feature all the time.
I assume that the key fob will do the same thing if you don't have Comfort Access (or even if you do).

what is this clutch thing your talking about? I read about it, where you press the clutch in and it starts the car?

Yes, when you have the Comfort Access option all you have to do is get in the car, press down the clutch, and hit the Start/Stop button and the car starts right up. No key needed.
I believe that you can also hit the Stop/Start button first and then depress the clutch and the engine will start as well.
