Battery Cover Removal

How do you remove the battery cover?
I have removed the 2 screws and the rubber trim. It is pretty loose now but seems to be held near the wiper. I looked at Real OEM and could not find the part. Also have looked at Aaron's pics but it just shows it in his hands.
thanks

Easy. after removing the 3 screws and rubber seal, press downwhile pulling out gently and it will unhook from the plastic seal that is attached to the bottom of the windshield glass. The downward pressure is the most inportant.

Thank you very much. is there anything that must be done with the passenger windshield wiper?

I had the left side released but the right side was not moving. perhaps i was not pushing down hard enough.

No, just to remove the battery side cover the windshield wiper does not need to be messed with.

its killing me. it is unhooked everywhere but where it attaches to the drivers side plastic. you mention 3 screws. one of them seems to hold only the main plastic that cradles the piece that we are talking about.
i feel very incapable

further investigation has lead me to discovering what looks to be a problem. i can lift the piece up and see the edge of the glass. The pice that hooks to the glass is still stuck to the piece that i am trying to get off. therefore, the passenger side and drivers sides are stuck together by this piece.
I tried tugging a little on the piece with the little access that i have but it did not budge. Should that piece be on the glass or on the part that i am taking off?

I'd like to know this too. And don't feel bad, my last car was a Saturn Sky and to replace the batter on that one you have to remove the entire front fender and the wheel well cover.
