There is a MINI club in MidTN?? I've been searching for weeks now and I finally stumble upon it. . .

First time MINI owner here. Me and my Chili Red '10 MC are ready to meet up with some other MINI moms & dads after experiencing our first time at the Dragon last weekend and being blown away by the enormity of the whole MINI culture.

How many folks are still out there??? I notice that most of these threads are older or haven't seen any postings in a few weeks.

Welcome dawnmac72 to our loosely organized club.

We have a club in name, but it's hard to get fellow MINI owners to come to organized events. I try to get something going every once in awhile, but have little or no response.

I'm going to try again and get something together in the near future either in Murfreesboro or somewhere in the south-southwest area of Nashville; maybe at one of the drive-in restaurants on a Friday or Saturday evening.

Thank you HalAC!

I'm surprised that other Nashville/Murfreesboro MINIers aren't more willing to get together. I'm definitely up for some group drives. I had a blast at the Dragon last weekend but I went alone and would have liked to at least known one other person there. I saw some other Davidson County tags there, though, so I know there were some other MidTNers there.

I know I don't get many waves on my to and fro from work in Franklin. Could it be those drivers have just lost the magic MINI feeling?

A lot of the the more recent buyers are buying MINIs for the fuel economy aspect rather than the sport coupe feel. I have to admit I bought mine to save on fuel, but also got it because of a nostalgia thing. Back in the late seventies I owned several classic Minis when I was stationed in England.

I think once things get back to some form of normalcy, I would like to try to get some folks together again, maybe meet up for lunch or supper. One of the people that posts here once in a great while owns a Moe's Southwest Grill in I think the Cool Spring area. Maybe we could meet there.

I bought my MINI (my first MINI and my very first ever brand new car!) because, on a whim, I test drove a Pepper White '05 that I saw on a lot in the 'Boro. I had so much fun on that 20 minute test drive that I just HAD to have one. Got lucky and the dealer had one on the lot that met my three main requirements: red, sunroof, maunal. It was fated!

I work in the Franklin/Cool Springs area and frequent that Moe's quite often. I think it would be great to get some other MINIers together at least once a month for a drive/activity/dinner. I've found that those MINI owners who are into the culture are some of the nicest people. . .would love to meet more of them.

Wish there was a way to kickstart this club back to life. . .

Welcome dawnmac72. I work in Cool Springs as well, but I come from Bellevue to get there, otherwise we would be waving to each other. I, too, look forward to getting together with some mini enthusiasts and I work right across the street from Moe's. Right now, my poor little Ruby (that's her name) is filthy from this flood disaster over the last week. But she's tough and will be clean once agin, when the water restrictions are lifted.

Maybe we can meet for lunch at Moe's one day during the week since we are both so close.

It is most delicious! I have found an 'at home' substitute that comes pretty close though. It makes for a really great Po' Boy sandwich, too!

Is it lunch time yet?
