Another drive-in to add to the list is the Montana between Tullahoma and Estell Springs.

Looks like you've got a good list there. I did one last fall going from Murfreesboro to Fall Creek Falls to Rock Island State park to a neat little restaurant just outside Manchester. Will probably do it again this fall.

Sept 19th 2009 MINI Run

The Jack Daniels run would be real convenient for me since I only live about eight miles from there. I've found some real nice twisties and hills around here to motor on.

 

Hey guys...like the ideas and would like to get something going here. I think it's funny Montana Drive-in is showing "How to Train Your Dragon".

Count me in if I'm in town.

I'm going to work on some cards I can leave on other MINIS when I spot them so we can try to pump some life back into this "club". (Did I just execute a coup? Oops! Not hijacking the club just excited to find other MINI people to connect with.) So, as of Monday I hope to be actively stalking MINIs in the Franklin/Cool Springs/Murfreesboro areas.

Attempted to make my first recruit today. . .spotted a laser blue/white MINI in the parking lot at work. Left a note but the rain foiled me!

A Drive-In Movie night would be great to do before it gets too hot to breathe. . .and the mosquitoes come out in full force.

 

Glad to see somebody other than me is really pumped about getting together with other MINI owners!

I've been trying to make some "calling" cards also. I thought about making some up to keep in the glove box along with some small zip lock bags in case of rain. Put them under the windshield wiper.

I don't think there's a coup here since this is about the most organized I've seen things here in this area. Let's keep the ball rolling.

 

I have access to a laminating machine at work so I was hoping to laminate them (have at you, rain!). I think I've come up with something that may work. I'll bring samples to show!

 

How about a drive-in movie on the 12th or 19th of June?

(These titles are tentative and subject to scheduling.)

As far as I know we have two different Drive-ins to choose from. the Montana in Estill Springs or the Stardust in Watertown. We'll probably Know the schedule for sure about a week ahead of time.

last summer me and some MINIs went strawberry picking at Bradley Farms which was a fun drive out, went on another fun drive to smith county once we picked and made fresh strawberry milk shakes (and margaritas) with the strawberries we just picked. I think everyone that went had a good time.

 

That sounds fun, too! I'll have to add it to the list of possibles.
