Alliance Renewal

I never received anything when I renewed my alliance membership last year. I had no intentions of renewing my membership this year but NAM automatically charged my PayPal account for a renewal I didn't submit.

NAM hasn't responded to my emails so now I'm having to dispute the charge thru PayPal. Come on NAM, you're better than this - aren't you?!

I've just been charged twice for renewal, which I did not authorize. I haven't seen anything from NAM since 2011, when I first joined. I can find nowhere to stop the auto-renewal/subscription process on this site. Judging by the fact that you never heard from them, I guess I'm going to have to dispute the charges too, and then dispute every year when they try and steal more money from me since they don't give an option of canceling your subscription/membership.

40 bucks for more gallery and message space? That 40 bucks would also buy a dang nice jug of single malt I'd sure enjoy a whole lot more. Were I you guys I'd sure get shut of that mess fast and hope you get it resolved soon, good luck.

found on paypal is what i used to pay last year they have a cancel sub never saw anything til now that this was a subscription. It has been canceled on paypals side though

and wow i just noticed i got charged again with in 3 days of the other charge hasn't posted on pp but i got a thanks for subscribing email from today for a different amount then what is on my post transaction of a few days ago

They keep trying to charge me too. Thankfully I don't keep money in my PayPal account, I've been searching everywhere in the forum trying to find an option NOT to auto-renew. Which, I don't recall selecting an auto renew to begin with.

i just got a 3rd subscription with another transaction id email already talked with pp they wont do jack but my cc company is stopping it

Still haven't received my schwag and if this is the way the website is being run I'm going to cancel my Alliance. I've sent emails and received zero reply.

This site is lacking admins. Ran into this issue a couple years ago when I first joined. I did end up getting a swag bag but only after complaining and messaging admins for about a month straight. Ended up switching my (paid) loyalty to Motoring Alliance.

I just want to know how I cancel the auto-renew without having to ***** to Paypal about it. Didn't see the renew in the fine print..

Any renewals are handled inside your PayPal account, not here on NAM. Please PM me if you're having any issues. I am asking our team in the office to dig into this as well. Most of the posts here seem to be from 2015, thankfully.

Recently signed back up for Alliance and filled out my info but haven't heard anything since. No swag and no further emails. What is happening?

Not only have members not received swag, but there was, at one point, a problem with auto renewals not being canceled. I haven't seen an auto renewal on my account, but others I've talked to have. I'm happy to support this site, but I dont like these shady shenanigans.

We don't have the capacity to auto-renew. that is an individual PayPal setting that we do not have control over. I'm following up with the office today.
