I don't think your correct here. I posted the full list of comments, and he did speak to one of them directly, so he chose not to respond to the rest before. (See the posts of the 18th) I'm not angary, just dissapointed. And I've got no timetable when the homework is due Also, I don't think he needs to defend MTH, maybe explain some of the corp policies better than he has.....

I see no reason at all to defend MTH. What for?

Please try to see it from our side. Unlike some other tuning
companies, we do each and every file new (that is also the reason why
we need a bit of time to send files back). Meaning that we do not
simply send you a once created file for a particular car. Why? Because
most cars do have different ECU settings. I am not talking about mods
and fuel. These are the standard factory settings that changed over
the time plus different settings for different countries. Even when
your old car had the latest SW update from BMW such as a new one,
some settings can (and are most likely to) be different.
So let´s assume you sell your car and get a new one. Yes, we could simply
sell you a key code and the file would work on the new car. But it
would not work as it should and could cause problems over the time
and/or give you less power. This is not the way we want to do
business. So a new car means a brand new file for us.

We do offer our plug&drive power boxes which can be transferred from
one car to another. But not for the MINI yet. These boxes can never
work as well as the proper ECU mapping plus the price is higher. So
far we do not plan to offer them for MINI. If there is a demand, we
might consider offering them though.

Don´t know if I got our point set straight. Would have been much
easier for me to do that in German but I am trying to explain as good
as possible.
