How do I really know that my MTH-dealer load the Tuner Software File (135 HP) in my MINI and not the Standard Software File (125 HP)? I don't want 've payed for the Tuner Software File and get theStandard Software File!

I haven't Cartune (yet) and I don't have the keycod; my MTH-dealer does!
Tuning of my car I let do that by specialists, but I want to know what they do with my MINI!

 

Don't worry. For them the job is same, they won't do a such a thing like that.

 

don't think the dealer derived any benefit by doing so. the other alternative is to deal direct with Volker/Franz @ MTH in Germany. I just got my new Tuner file uploaded a few days ago. Its !

 

Strange 're some points:
- I use octane 95 not 98, they don't asked...
- I've built in a Pipercross airintake, they don't asked...
MTH would write the software with all modifications, but if they don't know it...

I don't trust it anymore. Of other people I heard they don't get the keycode, the "MTH"-dealer keeps it.
From 90 HP to 135 HP is 50% more than original; I can feel more power but 50% more...
A knowledge has the program and cable of MTH and we will read the file, maybe download it and send it to MTH.

Normally you should get your keycode.

For my upgrade from normal to tuner file MTH asked me all the details + the octane I used.

 

We always give out the key code - so should the dealer/agent. You paid for it.

If we do not get info about mods and/or fuel, we set to 95 (EU) and no mods (air filter and CAI do not need any different set up).

Nobody is perfect. You are still dealing with people and if there is a problem with just one dealer, please do not blame all others for that. I think when talking and communicating in a normal way with people it takes you much further. So if you think that the dealer made a mistake - talk to him and I am sure everything will be sorted out :-) .

Thanx for reply! Indeed, nobody is perfect! The point is that I've a bad feeling with them, I'm always be a suspicious person, but I don't call here the name of the dealer. I don't want to make them black.
