COUNTDOWN to the Dragon has begun....

Heading north on the Florida Turnpike and then I-75 into Valdosta Georgia for the night. Leaving at 4:00pm today. Then tomorrow finishing off the rest of the way to Robbinsville with the huge caravan from Florida and Atlanta. This feels like friggin Christmas again for me when I was a tot many moons ago.

You can ride along with about the 4 of us....if you can be in NoVa by 7:30am. I am too hyper over this trip to wait much longer.

I have the same feeling!
I will see you at the caravan meeting place on GA-400. Unfortunately the Georgia contingent for the caravan will be small...maybe 4 cars, but I hear there will be lots of you Sunshine MINIs on the drive.

Alas, I am done. I have a few of the last minute items to pack up tomorrow and fill a cooler with fun stuff....but I'm off.
Last one out to the, kindly turn the lights off.
I'll see you fine folks at dinner tomorrow night. Those who I don't see tomorrow night I expect to see on Friday night.
If you are still unsure of what to bring...please double check the list at the RSVPs for the Chili Cook-off. There are currently 150 people coming....so, do bring enough to share with at least a few of those folks.
Ok...my pleading is over. I'm off to bed for a few minutes of not quite restful sleep until I depart tomorrow.

Hello to all the Mini lovers!!! Just recently purchased my "Tootles" and if she was not in the break in period sure would be at the Dragon for 2004. I might suggest lodging in the Asheville area which I believe may be a bit closer than Bristol. Plus side to that option might be a pleasant ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway in route to Fontana :smile:
