I am leaving around 3:45 am on Thursday morning. Equipment that I will have in tow includes:
One Mini (freshly washed, waxed)
Cameras, 8 and 2 mega-pixels with tripod and plenty of memory
Binoculars (since we are at a bird watching event you know )
Clothes
AAA trip-tic to find my way to Robbinsville
Chili ingredients not to exlcude my crock-pot and portable coleman grill
Beer (FYI: we are going to be in a DRY COUNTY)
Cash (to pay off the Dragon's Breath Chili Cook-off judges)
FRS/GMRS Radios
Maps/GPS for when I get lost.
Two RC Minis
Should be in the area my mid-afternoon on Thursday. Can't wait to see you guys!
FYI: I am bringing plenty of tickets for our Mini Cooper Convertable Raffle. Tickets are $10/each and proceeds benefit two Pittsburgh (PA) charities.

Good packing list, Hamster! Thanks for the ideas. Time to get to work on my packing now...and chili pre-cooking....and RC car charging...I guess I'm glad we still have 3 more days to get all this prep work done.

Reminder for all of you heading down to the Dragon solo, keep your GMRS/FRS radios on and tuned to channel 7 sub channel 21... You never know who you might come across on your way down.
Given the number of people coming down I-81 on Thursday it wouldn't suprise me if we encountered several people...
Our group will have the BRG/BRG and SG/BK Coopers, EB/EB S... and a Red Subaru Outback Wagon!

OFFICIAL COUNTDOWN: 1 DAY to the DRAGON
Ok....to be VERY exact for anyone who cares....there are just about 26 hours until I launch for the DRAGON.
If you see our little motley crew working our way down I-81....I'm the only chick driving a MINI!!!!!!!!!! I get to drive the MINI!!!

Ok....yes, I'm at work before the sun arose this morning....AND I NEED COFFEE. But have tons to do before 4:30pm....then have to take the dog to his girlfriend's for the weekend; make a few last minute things and make sure David has diapers for the road.
Ready to get on the ROAD.
(FYI, I may bee too excited to make an "I'm leaving" post -- so it is after 7:30am tomorrow and you see nothing from me....I'll see you at the DRAGON)

If we stay on schedule.... I will be leaving @ 3:00PM today (9 hours and counting).
I have loads of things to take care of b4 we... depart.
I want it to be a relaxing trip ...so......
I've planned a 5 hour drive today (Wed) and an 8 hour drive tomorrow (Thurs).
