Selling my 2005 Mini Cooper S with ~116500 miles The car is British Racing Green Metallic with the British flag roof decal (white roof under decal) and chrome mirror caps. The car has been a Virginia car its entire life and has no rust or corrosion. Because the car is a 2005, it was part of the 2005-2006 series and it received several upgrades over the 2002-2004 models. The upgrades include revised "Teflon coated supercharger", upgraded transmission (shorter shifts), oil filed upper engine mounts, revised dashboard and door panels, upgraded grill, and different headlights and taillight . The upgrades produced 7 additional horsepower and 7 ft/lbs of torque and increased acceleration. The car is loaded with options including the ultra-rare factory Limited Slip Differential (only offered in 2005-2006 and many people spend over $1,000 for an aftermarket substitute), rare Cockpit Chrono package (replaces speedometer with coolant temp, oil temp, and oil pressure gauge), On-board computer, Dynamic Stability Control, 6 Speed manual transmission, Sport Plus Suspension, Chrome-line interior package, Chrome-line exterior package, Anthracite interior surface, arm rest, sport seats, sport leather steering wheel, moon roof heated seats, parking sensors, fog lights, driving lights, Xenon headlights, heated windshield washer,rain-sensing wipers, climate control, Sirius XM, audio AUX-in, Bluetooth hands free calling, and many other options that can be seen in the picture of the options sheet. The car also had the Mini Fini Sports-link system which allows you to add a variety of attachments including a trailer hitch, bike rack, ski/snowboard holder, cargo carrier, and spare tire carrier. http://www.minifini.com/index.php
Upgrades (all upgrades done at ~108,000 miles)
I added several modifications to the car, but tried to build it the way BMW/Mini Cooper would. That being said almost all upgrades on the car are upgrades that are comparable to those that come from the factory with the John Cooper Works package and retain the reliability of a factory Mini Cooper.
The car has a DDM Works cold air intake ($250), Alta 17% supercharger pulley ($130), Cravenspeed shift **** ($90), JCW colder iridium spark plugs, MSD ignition coil ($80), MSD spark plug wires ($80), Way Motor Works Stratosphere cat-back Exhaust ($770), and JCW OEM injectors ($620). I had planned to have the car flashed with the JCW tune at the dealer, but after deciding to sell the car, I thought I would let the next owner decide if they want to do the JCW tune or a custom tune. Since the car is already set up like a JCW, the dealer will simply need to flash the tune onto the car as explained here https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ne-on-r53.html. The tune should cost around $50 from the dealer and will greatly improve performance of the car.
Recent Maintenance (performed at or after ~108,000 miles)
In addition to the modifications I made, I also changed the oil every 3,000 miles with Royal Purple oil, changed the supercharger oil, changed the transmission fluid to Redline MTL, Changed the coolant, added PIAA super silicone wiper blades ($60), New O2 Sensor, and New pads and rotors on all for wheels. The car burns no oil and drives/ shifts great and just passed inspection. I also have a set of Koni Yellow Adjustable Sport Shocks ( $800) and H&R springs ($250) that I would be interested in selling. http://www.madnessmotorworks.com/kon...r-mini-cooper/. The shocks and springs were sold as a kit, so the fitment should be ideal. I also have a set of Tein lowering springs ($175) that I would be interested in selling as well.
If you are interested in the car or would like to view it please PM or email me. I am asking $5,995 OBO for the car
Car can either be purchased in Northern,VA or Syracuse,NY
