Aero Grill (Top) Driving Light Options

I'm sure this has been asked before and I apologize for re-posting if so. I couldn't find it.

This is regarding mounting in the top grill location / above the bumper.
I've seen the mounts for lower mounting.

With the JCW Aero grill installed, what are my options for mounting locations for say Hella 500's or the like? Do I have to cut out the grill (don't really want to do that) for the mounts. Drill out holes in the top of the bumper? (don't want to do that either)

Is there a mount the fits through the honeycomb of the aero grill ?

Thanks in adavance for input, if any.

Sean

use the factory license plate holes (hidden under the plastic) that are drilled into your (hidden) bumper and fabricate a bracket to fit the lights. You can get very creative with a trip to home depot.

the factory kit instructions call for cutting holes in the AERO grill (to accommodate the factory brackets)

http://www.minimania.com/pdfile/NMA3...734.1357770187

see page 5

there was a template provided that is NOT included with these instructions

these instructions call the AERO kit the "SPORT" option

Or you can go for the rally look and mount them up high, off the bonnet, just use two pairs of factory driving light brackets.

Thanks for that info. Though I would hate to cut the grill, if I have to? Then I guess I must.
