Take over my Lease!! Cooper S (Pepper White)

Unfortuately for me I do not need my 2005 Mini Cooper S anymore and have decided I should find someone to assume the lease.

Here are the specs:
2005 Cooper S
lease ends Aug 15th 2007
$541 a month
only 18,000 miles (the lease is for 20,000 miles a year!)
Its been garaged ever since I got it and I don't smoke.

ok now the fun stuff:
Pepper White w/ Black Roof
Built-in GPS Navigation
Harmin/Kardin sound system
Heated Seats
Sunroof
aux. jack for iPods or any mp3 player

I really love this car but it makes no sense for me to keep it in my current job. I take public transportation and don't see any need for it in Chicago.

I'd like to have someone take over the lease, pay the BMW transfer fee ($450), take care of transporting it from Chicago to wherever you are, and pay me for my unused miles. I haven't driven the car for over a year now and I would like to feel like I didn't completely toss my money down the drain.

Contact me if you are interested.

Thanks!

Find someone with crapy credit and they might want to get in on this.

Yep. BMW is the worst too! I had a 6.5 intrest rate with my dad as a co-signer (he has near perfect credit). My payment was 225 a month. That was with 16k down. Bmw is the hardest to get a good rate from. Well atleast I think so!

Man that is bad. Both are loans are thru capital one. and we have good rates on used cars. But i guess when people want to buy your cars unlike ford and chev and dodge. you can charge whatever you want.

Yeah you bought used though right? Capital One is fair. BMW for a new car tries to milk you.

Yes it's $541 a month, but only for 9 months... then you pay out the remainder and you have yourself a fully featured and relatively cheap MINI.

Pay you from miles, pay for transportation, pay BMW to transfer then buy the car for more than it is worth what a deal.

What's the purchase price option at the end of the lease?

In case you can't find anyone one here, I believe there are some websites where you can post your car: Leasetrader.com & Swapalease.com

For $541 a month I can go and lease A BMW Z4. Can You adjust the lease amount? If my credit is better and I put down somemore money?

Lease buyout...

Just a suggestion... call BMW and get the lease buyout amount. (This is typically the residual + payments remaining - a little interest) Then post that here. Someone may be more willing to do that. A local Mini dealer should be able to handle the paperwork for you...

You also should check your lease paperwork to see if they allow you to tranfer your lease to someone else.

you are allowed to. BMW offers that option if you wish. As long as the person you are signing it over to meets the requirements.
