2006 Cooper S – John Cooper Works (UT)

Miles 29,500
Price: $25,900
VIN: WMWRE33576TL21880

I posted a Gallery of 27 photos at: http://gallery.mac.com/jeremy.hanks#100118

I am in UT, but I'd be happy to work out a way to 'deliver' the car to anyone within a day's drive or so.

This MINI is completely loaded—I literally ordered it with almost every option possible. I am the original and only owner. 80% of the miles have been freeway miles. This car gets awesome gas mileage, 30 mpg+ on the freeway! The gallery has a scan of the KBB report for the car.

It also has The John Cooper Works Tuning Kit that cost $6300 when I bought the car. The John Cooper Works Tuning Kit changes the cylinder head, air filter, spark plugs, injectors, and Supercharger compressor to boost the performance to 207 bhp—that’s 39 bhp more than a standard Cooper S, and for a car this light and small, that’s A LOT. What that means is that the car sounds awesome and this MINI has a top speed of 143 mph. (a few of the photos in the gallery are scans that tell more about the Tuning Kit) It also has sports suspension and brakes to match up with the improved engine performance.

This car was ordered and is now priced for a future MINI owner who wants the ultimate in stock performance from a MINI Cooper. If you want a basic ‘cute’ MINI, this probably isn’t for you as it has too many options. This MINI is a complete blast to drive!

The color is Astro Black Metallic with the White Bonnet Stripes. The interior has Tartan Red Cloth/Panther Black Leather with an Anthracite headliner. The red seats were chosen to match the red in the “S” design and also the red in the John Cooper Works design (brake calipers, etc.)

Here’s a rundown of what it’s got: (Gallery has a scan of all this too)

Warranty - Service
- 3 year/36,000 mile Full Maintenance Program
- 4 year/50,000 mile limited warranty
- MINI Roadside Assistance program – 4 years/50,000 miles

Finally, the MINI Cooper has been in the top 10 cars for resell value for the past few years, and was #1 in 2006, so this car should continue to maintain it’s value since those figures are based on the 5 year residual value of the car.

It’s an amazing car, just not the best for a family of 4 and for someone who goes to the mountains with lots of gear/equipment and on road trips tons, so alas, I’m parting ways with her.

Contact me with any questions or if you’d like to discuss an offer on the car. 801-380-5550

Saw your ad on KSL cars this morning. If it were red, I'd be sorely tempted, since I'm just down the road in Provo Best of luck with the sale!

Nice car.... With all those options you could get a trailer to put all your toys in when you travel. I just ordered an 08 S partially loaded. I sold my 06 non S. I didn't like the 5 speed transmision. At 80 mph I was pulling 4000 rpms which I felt was a lot for sustained driving.

How is the service at Murray?

Thanks

Beautiful car! If only I were not traveling until Nov...I would be interested for sure! No sense in buying a car (especially a fun one!) when I won't be able to drive it! It's a good thing I didn't see this earlier, I was just in UT for almost two weeks...I might have been too tempted!
