I'm reviving this thread as we've decided to probably go ahead with selling the MINI. It's a tough call; not a day has gone by when I've not been torn one way or another one whether or not to sell. As I've put on the miles the price, of course, has dropped (though the car has appreciated in value.. how cool?!). A good chunk of the 11,100 miles were accumulated through three trips to Colorado Springs, mostly; other than those miles we've driven the MINI less than 800 miles a month since ordering. An important note is that there is a lien on the vehicle. I've sold cars with liens in the past so I'm familiar with how to do that end of it.

I've also looked into shipping the MINI in case anybody is curious. I've gotten a few quotes for shipping: I used Los Angeles, CA 90078 as a point of reference and shipping from Overland Park, KS to 90078 was $750 for an open truck and $1210 for an enclosed truck.

Or if anybody is wanting to fly in you'd be flying to Kansas City International (MCI) Airport; I will personally pick you up/meet you at the airport if you're wanting to roadtrip it home (which would be my choice!).

Hi, sorry for leaving you hanging forever, olcorral. When I found out about the baby, I went through, what I've since found out is somewhat common, a bit of a "freak out"..

Sort of a "we're having a kid?! We need money!!!"

of course for the right price (or an even trade for a GP... *cough cough*) everything is negotiable.

 

Don't be scared. Babies don't set you back too bad (until they grow up). By that time you will have gotten past the need to get rid of it.

My three are grown and I'm talking myself into being able to afford a Mini.

 

Bump for revival.. and justice! For sale once again.

 

Pretty sure MSRP was $26,045 including destination charge. (sorry it took me so freakin long to reply! )

 

Is this car still forsale? If so, what is the asking price now and the current mileage? Does it have the auto a/c?

 

I've updated the original post with current mileage and price. No, the vehicle doesn't have auto a/c. Auto a/c was an option I was considering, did some research here on NAM, and found lots of people unhappy with it, so decided against it.

 

I've reduced the price (by enough to pretty much ship it anywhere in the lower 48 for free or for airfare plus road trip money); a little bump is warranted.
