WTT: Stg3 Audi A4 for MCS
WTT: Stg3 Audi A4 for MCS
Like it says. This car has a lot of work done. All major things have been completed, i.e CV boots, TB, WP, bearings, Tires, Clutch, etc all within the last 5,000 miles. She has a few dings acquired from the average parking lot. She currently has 129,xxx miles, but all the major stuff has been done. Half the miles are highway from cross country travels doing articles for DM Mag, and was also the project car for the Snow Performance install in the mag in issue 3. Quick, reliable, handles nice, sexy lines....just to big for me. I want a down grade in size. If interested please let me know. I am open to an MCS and that's it. So if you need to go up in size and would like a nice clean quick AWD Audi let me know....
Title in hand
Pics and a short list of major mods, these are the ones that really count....please ask any questions. Don't hesitate to do so.
It's a 99.5 A4 Quattro, 5sp. (Drive by cable, great throttle response)

S4 steering wheel.
Exterior:
RS4 grill,
RS4 wheels(reps with some curbage. need refinished to look 100% again)
E-codes with HID's
S4 tails,
Gimp mirror
Engine & Tranny:
APR stage 3 turbo kit,
Snow performance water/meth injection,
Spec stage 3 clutch,
low mass flywheel,
Milteck exhaust,
Motor mounts(not sure what brand, but they aren't stock)
A8 brake upgrade
Suspension:
H&R cup kit with the billies =)

I can get more specific with the pics as needed. Let me know.
-Keith
This car is extremely reliable, don't let the mileage scare you. I drive this thing on long trips monthly. Average of about 600 miles round trip. No issues at all ever, and gets great MPG, very close to stock. That's why the car has the APR kit, reliability is key. If you have any questions requarding the mods please ask. Nothing was skimped. I mean the Turbo kit alone cost $4500

This one is a little harder to read...but its a stg3 clutch with a low mass flywheel

The $1000 exhaust

Link to the Mag. You can still see the car at the bottom....

Like I said, A lot of money is in the car, however the miles are high, so realistically I figure the car is worth between 11 and 12...and I feel this based off of others selling similar setups that actually sold.

Saweeet ride bro....Audi fan here....good luck with that! APR is the bomb-digity when it comes to turbo kits....iconel exhaust manifolds mean never having to worry about a cracked manifold....
I would seriously consider it if I didnt have as much invested in mine as I do.....O and the fact that I love the MINI.....

Mine is to the left

In this one you can see some good differences.

My headlights are the german verses the U.S. spec on the one next to me
I have an RS4 grill, while again he has stock with a painted surround. My wheels are RS4 as well, although they are reps. If you don't know what an RS4 is in the B5 chassis, check it out on Youtube, they are wide body wagons with twin turbo V6's putting out some amazing horsepower.....
Both of us are lowered as well so you can't compare that to stock, plus he's actaully an S4. Stock A4's are literally 4X4's.
Also you can see my Euro stubby mirror, verse the long board looking one on the right car. You can only get in on the passenger side btw....
These are the next day in Indy at the Midwest Dubfest show....I didn't enter, the car was dirty from the road trip and I didn't have time to wash before entry time was up so I didn't enter....I would have won my class though compared to what showed lol.

I was suppose to get some fresh pics today, these are about 2 weeks old in Louisville KY, but nothing has changed. I had a long day at work. I will get some fresh ones tomorrow for those interested.
Also PM's have been replied.

APR claims 280 at the crank, the meth probably gives it about 30-40, although I think they claim 50 for the big turbo. I would say its safe to say 255-265awhp realistically, which is a pretty good amount for the car. Probably 310 or so at the crank. I have yet to get the car dynoed so I'm being light with the numbers, it could be more. But the dyno is a heart breaker. We haven't had an AWD dyno in the area very long and I haven't had a chance to get the numbers read.

Also I should note that there is a switch to change the tune incase you wanted to run race gas. I have never used it, but it is suppose to be a more aggressive tune and give a considerable amount of more power.
I have an Austrailian friend with pretty much the same setup. He said 330AWHP on a whole lotta boost from a mother of a turbo and alky injection. Let me testify, that cars like these will pull incredible AWD burnouts, launch like a bat out of Hell and spit fire through through the pipes like its their job. He beats up on C5 ZO6 'Vettes and that kind of thing. He dosen't BS so I trust him. I'd just like to see what he could do to an SRT-4 or Fox body Mustang who think they are quick. I need a ride in his car.
You really could downgrade your size and trade for my Classic Cabrio

Opps forgot I had this thread going.
the car is brilliant black, has black heated leather, stock bose stereo, falken tires with around 5-6000 miles. Right now I am in the process of suedeing the interior. I will post updated pics soon. For the mean time it is off the market until I get the interior back in. The longer it takes for me to get a mini, the more stuff I will do to the car. We'll see though. As for an outright sale....do some research and come up with an offer. It's hard to put a price on a car with this much into it. I do realize I will be taking a huge lose, but I've come to accept that.
-Keith
Also, not interested in a classic at this time. I loved the my 83 british grand open one but I'm not in a position right now where I could dedicate myself to a weekend driver. Beautiful car though.
