Looks like fun! My wife and I have been talking about a little roadtrip to the peach orchards on the Western slope. Maybe we'll be able to hop in on the first part of the ride. I'll work on it.

I'm ready
Coun't me my dog and maybe my dad in. Since I am coming from the Springs, would it be best for me to take c470 around Littleton and get off around Golden and take that way to Boulder. I will need to leave around 6AM so what is the quickest way for me?

You know, Hwy 93 is fine and scenic but
as long as you can get thru the constr. on I25, it may be faster. I will be going that way.
I will plan on bringing Bo, our critter, too. I presume that the park allows dogs on leashes....
I believe Brad, as well as Eva and John, may be coming up from the Springs as well...

Yeah, it would be nice if it were easier for me to attend. I do miss the great MINI scene in Denver. Hopefully later this year I'll get back and have a chance to attend a MINI5280 event and see the new Webb Motorsports shop.

Hey, do you remember which of the cars in my sig picture is yours?
We will shorten the ride on Saturday
and cut off the Steamboat loop. We'll do that another day. On another note, the www.nps.gov site says:
Pets are permitted in Rocky Mountain, but they must be leashed (six-foot length maximum) and attended at all times. Leashed pets are allowed only in areas accessed by vehicles, including roadsides, picnic areas and campgrounds. Pets are not permitted on trails or in the backcountry. They are allowed - leashed - on trails in some surrounding national forest areas.
