So weve been talking about it for awhile now. So lets get this planned!

Going:

Ditto.

It would be wise to plan the route, times, food stop, length, etc..first, then post it here. This would generate more intrest and or participation.

88, that is quite a route, how many miles is it total?

Do you want to make it an official MINI5280 drive or just to the Springs MINI folks?

I'm sure you would get some folks from up in this area.

If you want to make it 5280 contact Teena (Rudebox) or Jeremy (d3?????) and she/he can put it into the Calendar.

Don

Hello,
Anyone is welcome to plan a trip and you don't have to be an official MINI5280 member to attend...Once you have your plans confirmed, be sure to also post it in the Members South thread for more exposure at https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...s-south-4.html

If you want me to add it to the event calendar on NAM once the details are confirmed, just PM me.

Thanks for planning!

Well they said the water pump is good it just burped and spit some fluid but we shall see tommorrow when I take her for a nice hard run. But bad news is the condesor (Spelling) is shot I hope the warrenty will cover it but not sure.

Ok here is a 24 hour notice that if no final plan is in order this thread will be "hijacked" lol! Now people are talking about a CoS run and no other info has been put into place.... i dont have a problem with the Eddy Line plan (i did almost 300 miles on the tax recovery run) but that is an all day event and will probably deter some from going... we can do another route around criple creek, lunch and back to the springs as a shorther suggestion.... any way Feedback would be nice! and These runs are for us to put together... lets plan something CoS peeps!

P/s i'm no LIL'valentino but im trying my best (she has a talent for these things)

Im no planner or either So Lets;

1. Either cancel this.
2. Someone else come up with a route.

I just havn't had the time to go back into map quest and redo a route so T-rav plan the route post it and lets see if we can get some people comited to going. I leave for Oklahoma in a few days and will be back shortly before the 30th.

I will think about putting something together for this . Let me consult some Springs expert drivers (Mike Gleason) and see what we can do.

I would really like to just get everyone in the Springs together - whether a drive or some coffee. There has been a surge of interest in the area and would be good to meet everyone. Another event we missed out on due to lack of interest was a DIY day with Bahman. The last was a great event and I am in need of an alignment .

Here is something else we need to do as a Springs event

http://www.firstandmaintowncenter.co....aspx?ID=10317

I will have my classic out there on May 7. I would take the R56 but I can't drive two cars at once

One other event is the Saturday car meet on Austin Bluffs. I don't know the address but it is the old grocery store. I have taken my classic there and the R56. I think it would be awesome to invade with a bunch of MINIs/Minis one Saturday night.

I think this is one of those cases of, if you plan it they will come.

How about we do this: scrub the April 30 drive and have a meet/drive combination on May 7.

Meet for the First Saturday car show - http://www.firstandmaintowncenter.co....aspx?ID=10317

Once over, we do a drive (route TBD) to a lunch location and then head back. I can come up with a route that isn't too long but fun. Again, I will need/require some input into this but it will be a good time.

Thoughts????
