the end all to be all Yalla Yalla 2k10 thread of everything

for starters, i apologize for any confusion this causes due to policy reversal and such, but this is my first YY you know

so,

i talked to the bean counters, the magic makers, the Man and all his peoples, I even consulted a Ouija board.

we're going to be doing it this way:

There will be No flat charge for YY this year, so if you want to show up and run the event, and try for your fair share of the booty, (there's a lot of booty..) feel free to show up.

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/PZHTGBT
Please use this if you are planning on staying for the meal, NO MONEY will be collected ahead of time. This will help us to accurately ensure there is enough delicous food at the end for all who will be there!

AT THE DOOR we will collect 5$ for each person that is staying for the meal at the end to help defray that cost. If you don't plan on staying at the end, then YY will be free like it always has been. Should you choose during the event to change your mind and stay, feel free to palm me a Lincoln, and no worries mate.

(( if you have already paid via paypal, and DON'T plan on attending the meal, PLEASE EMAIL ME: chefjm@hotmail.com and we'll get your money back to you ))

so ignore the per person charge unless the above relates to you

the old 287 Broomfield PNR is no more, the new Broomfield PNR is just down the hill from the old one next to the Broomfield Events Center i'll update the calender, but easy directions are this:

take US36 to the broomfield/wadsworth/287 exit and Head SOUTH
turn LEFT at Uptown, goto the SECOND light which is Transit way, and take a LEFT, the parking garage will be about a 1/4 mile down the road on the right hand side, if you goto far, you end up in a do not enter zone as that is where the buses pull in.

My poster isnt showing up, i don't know why, I DONT KNOW WHY!@!@!@!@!@!!!!

anywho, rally time is 10 am, if you want to come early to beat the crowd, feel free

The designs that are loaded have the old date of 11-7-10 on them.

Collector's items. I'll update CafePress as soon as I receive the updated graphics...

Also, for the purpose of helping Jeremy plan for the after-Yall Yalla meal (head count), please answer the survey that was added to post #1 in this thread. That SurveyMonkey link is:

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/PZHTGBT

Thanks,
Rick

Quick question.....or 3.

How long does Yalla Yalla usually last? Is the meal at the end lunch or dinner? I know everything is hush, hush, but I have to gauge whether or not my son will enjoy this or will balk at 5 hours in the car!

Thanks!

last year it was about 6 hours, this year time in the car will be closer to 4 or so, but event time will still be around 6 as there are, lets call them, "breaks" thru out the drive

meal could be considered lunch or dinner, there'll be plenty of chow

your son should enjoy it i would think

Hah! I got it to work! Facebook is actually good for something.

Anyways, may I present to you Yalla Yalla in a nutshell. Everyone is now privy to it's inner workings. Don't look at it too long, your brain might explode.

I think that Diagram is too revealing of the inner workings of YY. Now we will be there all night having tie breakers.

Boy oh boy do we have some prizes for the survivors. Really hoping everyone gets lost and I have to accept all the Prima prize packages on your behalf.

I think they might be anyways, I'm predicting about a 50% survival rate this year.

Slow because FF and Safari users could not access these pages without exploit alerts.

Similar to attending Yalla Yalla, you have to be on your toes.

Is the calendar entry going to be updated with a banner, map for start and sign-up here on NAM?

Curious? Also, is the old 287 park-n-ride open, if that is the start?

Guess I will go hunting for info.

Don
